Terry Miller was born and raised in Beaver Falls, PA. He received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Pittsburgh followed by a Master of Architecture from Syracuse University. He has been a licensed architect since 1996. Miller Architecture and Planning was granted Small Business of Excellence awards by the Douglas County Chamber of Commerce in 2014 and 2017. Of his most notable local projects he designed the renovation to O’Neal Plaza and Welcome Center (in conjunction with Niles Bolton Associates and Haines Gipson Engineers), the Statewide award-winning O'Neal Plaza stage cover and the adjacent Irish Bred Pub balcony and renovation. Mr. Miller now serves on the Atlanta Chapter of the American Institute of Architects Board of Directors as the Public Director and is a vocal advocate for better design in our communities. Mr. Miller was elected to the Douglasville City Council in 2007, 2017 and re-elected in 2021 with over 70% of the vote. He has been chosen by his city council colleagues to be the city of Douglasville’s Mayor Pro Tem every year since 2021. He is a past member of the board of directors of the Cultural Arts Council of Douglasville, the Community Character Coalition board, and the Douglasville Downtown Development Authority. He currently serves on the Lithia Springs High School STEM Advisory Board, the Nichols Center: Families of Recovery Board, and the WellStar Douglas Regional Board. He is also a founding member of the Douglasville Community Theater. In addition to these accomplishments, Mr. Miller has also made several very humble attempts in the performing arts by acting in two dinner theater productions by our local theater group CAST and has written two locally produced plays, The Long Ball and Small Time, both of which were performed to critical acclaim in front of sold-out audiences.

Robin Latimore, CEO
The Robin Latimore Foundation

Robin Latimore

Robin Latimore Foundation’s mission is to give scholarships to college-bound high school seniors and college students who have been diagnosed with cancer and wish to continue pursuing a higher education. She also awards monies to college students whose parent has cancer and needs financial assistance due to the strain the illness has taken on normal family life and impedes them from helping the student with college fees. Robin also hosts free “Lunch and Learn” classes to any entity requesting knowledge regarding certain cancers and healthy alternatives that can assist in keeping illness at bay. These cancers, taught by doctors in partnership, include Cervical, Prostate, Breast, and Colon. Robin merges her passion of performing music with honoring those scholarship recipients and their families, past and present, with a yearly gala and fundraiser. She now celebrates year 10 making a difference in the lives of students who have shown that above all, resilience and a will to press forward is the status quo.
